How to Add a Patient

Now that you have a MyChildren’s account, you’ll need to add a patient, even if you are the patient. To begin, log in to your account and select Add a Patient.

If you received a token in an email or during a visit, continue to the instructions below. If you don’t have a token, go to the I don’t have a token instructions.

I have a token.

  1. If you have a token, choose Yes, then select Next. If you don’t have a token, see the I don’t have a token instructions.

  2. Choose whether you are adding your child or yourself, then select Next.
  3. Enter the token number and your child’s date of birth, then select Submit.

    Please allow up to one business day for approval. Thank you.

I don’t have a token.

  1. If you don’t have a token, choose No, then select Next. If you have a token, see the I have a token instructions.
  2. Indicate whether or not you are the patient, then select Next.
  3. If you are adding your child to your account, enter your information and then select Next. If you are the patient, you won’t see this screen.

    The following screen appears:

  4. Enter the patient’s information. Then select Submit.

    Please call the MyChildren’s Support team at 617-919-4396 to get the medical record number (MRN) and date of visit.
